Dirac ART Coming to Denon and Marantz Receivers

Breaking news.

Masimo is looking at bringing Dirac Live Active Room Treatment (ART) to the current line of Denon and Marantz receivers that already support Dirac Live. This is excellent news.

What type of support we can expect is anyone’s guess at this point. The question is whether the processing power is enough to match Storm Audio’s implementation or does it need to be scaled down – such as limiting the frequency range where ART is active further. We will wait for a proper announcement.

However, since ART is most required under 120Hz, further limiting of the frequency range would not be a massive issue, as long as it works in the subwoofer region. Anything else would be a bonus.
