Free 3D-Printable Horn Adapter for DIY Speakers

Looking to elevate your home theater or build speakers? Explore our Speaker Designs to transform your sound!

As bolt-on to screw-on horn adapters become increasingly scarce and inconsistent in quality, weโ€™ve modeled one and are offering a free 3D-printable version to fill the gap.

This adapter allows you to mate standard 2- or 3-bolt compression drivers (e.g., B&C, FaitalPro, etc.) to horns with a 1-3/8″-18 TPI internal thread. Itโ€™s especially useful for prototyping, retrofitting, reusing existing horns in DIY Speaker Builds.

Key features:

  • Supports both 2- and 3-bolt patterns
  • Standard 1-3/8″-18 TPI male thread
  • Thick-wall design for durability
  • No supports required for FDM printing
  • Tested in PETG and ABS; PLA may work for low-SPL/ low heat applications
